I took this photo in East Tsavo at the Sheldrick Elephant Foundation. Every day around noon we would take our Land Cruiser to the elephant mud pit. A mix of orphans and wild elephants would meet at this mud pit to take their daily bath. The mud bath for the elephant provides a protective layer against the sun and bugs.
